Misconceptions you had about classical music as a child?

For example, when I was a little kid, I thought Tchaikovsky was Asian. (Not sure where I got that one. Maybe the ‘chai’ in his name? XD)

Remembering this made me wonder–did you guys have any weird misconceptions about things relating to classical music when you were little? The funnier the better!

Where can I find the classical music piece called Elise?
