How to appreciate/like classical music?

I love soft classical music such as Moonlight Sanata..etc.. But I cannot stand to listen to anything rougher. I don’t know what the right word is. I like violin, but rough/fast piano music such as some of Ernst Dohnanyi’s music hurts my head. My boyfriend is a pianist and he tells me I am uneducated when it comes to classical music. How can I be more educated with classical music? Thank you very much.

What’s the name of that song featured on a classical music station?

I’m looking for the name of a song that I heard on Classical 96.3. It was an instrumental piece and the only thing I can remember is its melody. I hope this isn’t too vague but I receall it sounded fairly jolly and I remember that when the name was said it sounded like something and the dragon.
I havn’t had any luck finding a song under a name close to that but I know that the song has been played quite a few times so its pretty known.
